I just bought this bike used and the battery seems to be working fine. However, the owner had it in storage for about 3-4 years. It’s giving me about 25 miles per charge, but the manual says if there is going to be long term storage and the BMS is turned on it can permanently damage the battery. Should I be concerned? What is this permanent damage? Is it something this service/rebuild could fix?
