BionX rear rack battery replacement

AS OF AUGUST 2020, WE ARE NO LONGER REBUILDING BIONX BATTERIES DUE TO A HIGH NUMBER OF FAILURES OF THEIR BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM BOARDS WHICH WE CANNOT REPLACE. WE RECOMMEND CONTACTING OHM CYCLES OR BIONX LEGACY SHOP.

Do you have a BionX e-bike that needs a new battery? Let us rebuild, refurbish, and upgrade your old one! We can swap in fresh, grade A lithium ion cells to get you back on your wheels. We've squeezed in as much as 40V 13Ah in a rear rack case more than doubling the range of the original battery. We can take care of all form factors of BionX e-bike batteries whether it's the rear rack or down tube style.

BionX E-bike battery replacement

Some of these larger downtube, triangular, fin-shaped batteries can hold up to 60 cells, giving them plenty of room to be upgraded to 36V 21Ah.

All of our batteries are warrantied for a full 12 months. All you need to do is fill out our Battery Intake Form and send us the battery, charger, and bike. We'll even recycle your old batteries for you! Don't let a drained battery keep your bike just collecting dust. Give us a call and it'll be going better than new!

BionX E-bike Battery Repair and Upgrade

Due to the nature of the BionX systems, we require the bike in order to validate the rebuild.

EBike Marketplace,

good morning. I have a 450 watt back rack bionx that unfortunately was not charged for 6 months and now will no longer take the trickle charge(led stays red). It is only 2 or 3 years old and has not been charged more than 20 times. what do you recommend without purchasing a brand new kit and a differnet battery style? thank you, Jordan d brown

jordan brown,

@Sergio – We’ll be in touch with our current options.

EBike Marketplace,

@Gary – We’ve rebuilt a few BionX batteries without having the rest of the system, so we should be ok, but I’ll let you know about the caveats.

EBike Marketplace,

@Michael – I’ll need to get more details about your battery, but we’re happy to help out!

EBike Marketplace,

@Joe – We can usually rebuild these batteries if the BMS is still functional.

EBike Marketplace,

buongiorno, ho una batteria come la terza foto, 36v, non tiene più molta carica, mi sa dire il prezzo per la rigenerazione ?

Sergio Montorsi - da Modena ( IT ),

I have a Li-Mn 37v downtube
Sharkfin pack just like the one in your last picture. Do I need to ship the entire bike? Not sure I understand.
Thanks

Gary Neidermayer,

I live in San Jose, California and I have a hpvelotechnik, grasshopper.
Can you fix a two and a half year old battery that wasn’t used for two years?
If not, do you sell the same battery that is used in the “Goswiss” electric bike system?

Michael Wilder ,

I have a bionx downtube Li-Mn 36V battery that only charges to 20% then the charger gives me a green light. Can this be rebuilt and made fully functional? If so, how much would it cost?

Joe C,

@Stephen – We’ll be in touch with potential options!
