Hello, just wondering if you had gotten any A2B Velociti Battery Packs in?

  • EBike Marketplace: November 03, 2017

@Dave – Periodically we’ll have batteries in stock, but these typically come from customers that end up not wanting their battery back. We cannot guarantee compatibility with your bike. Please email or call for current inventory. Thanks!

Do you sell the internal and external A2B Metro batteries outright (meaning I don’t send in my old cases) or would I have to send in old batteries for you to rebuild using my battery cases? If you stock and sell them, are your prices any different if we use your battery case as opposed to sending in my own? Also, do you know where I can get instructions on how to remove the internal battery on a 2nd generation 2011 A2B Metro? I have the version that looks similar to the current Octave with the handlebar ignition key and round speedometer dash. I’ve never removed the internal battery and their video online shows the battery removal on an older original version A2B Metro before they moved the controller to the bottom of the downtube so not sure if it’s much different in terms of battery removal step. Glad to find you online and learn of a way to keep our older ebikes on the road! :)

@Devan – Yes, rebuilding is typically the best solution. You can find more information on our “Rebuilds” tab through the menu at the top of the page.

Dear Terry, Unfortunately, new battery packs are difficult to get. Every now and then, we will get extra stock though, so we can get in touch when we have some.

I just was given a a2b velociti electric bike, has no power pack (battery) 36v 13.2ah 450w.
Where can I get a replacement ? Everything has been discontinued.

    Thanks.

@Jim – Yes, the highest capacity battery is compatible with the old controller. Please see our A2B Rebuilds page for other information.

@Michael – If the battery won’t hold a charge (or won’t get as much range as it should), your options are basically to get it rebuilt or buy a new battery.

So my 5 year old A2B Metro internal battery won’t take a charge it’s been sitting awhile collecting dust what are my options?

A2B external secondary battery Re-Pack. Battery still works , range has deteriorated from 22 down to about 7 miles. I want to send battery in and have it repacked with new cells at 36v 21ah (Longest range) battery rebuild. Questions: will the stock controller handle a battery with this much added range, and assuming nothing is wrong with battery … total cost. Shipping, repack and warrantee. I have someone local, but long range option is the way I want to go… price sensitive. My rebuilt internal was $450.00 shipped

@Adam Cameron, Thank you for your inquiry. We can definitely rebuild all A2B batteries and we have various pricing options depending on the performance you want; i.e. if you want an upgrade and by how much. Please call us for more information or send your battery in using the Battery Intake Form linked in the post.
