AS OF AUGUST 2020, WE ARE NO LONGER REBUILDING BIONX BATTERIES DUE TO A HIGH NUMBER OF FAILURES OF THEIR BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM BOARDS WHICH WE CANNOT REPLACE. WE RECOMMEND CONTACTING OHM CYCLES OR BIONX LEGACY SHOP.
Do you have a BionX e-bike that needs a new battery? Let us rebuild, refurbish, and upgrade your old one! We can swap in fresh, grade A lithium ion cells to get you back on your wheels. We've squeezed in as much as 40V 13Ah in a rear rack case more than doubling the range of the original battery. We can take care of all form factors of BionX e-bike batteries whether it's the rear rack or down tube style.
Some of these larger downtube, triangular, fin-shaped batteries can hold up to 60 cells, giving them plenty of room to be upgraded to 36V 21Ah.
All of our batteries are warrantied for a full 12 months. All you need to do is fill out our Battery Intake Form and send us the battery, charger, and bike. We'll even recycle your old batteries for you! Don't let a drained battery keep your bike just collecting dust. Give us a call and it'll be going better than new!
Due to the nature of the BionX systems, we require the bike in order to validate the rebuild.

I am thinking of buying a Toba bike with a missing battery and throttle cable assembly. What is the approx. price and availability of these items?
@Ricardo – Unfortunately, we cannot replace circuit boards on BionX batteries. We can replace them for generic batteries though.

I have a Trek e-bike that the battery has a bad cell and will not charge. I had it rebuilt about two years ago. I am looking for more than two years of service from a rebuild.
I only use the bike when we go camping about 8 to 9 trips a year. I bring the battery indoors during winter. It is not like it gets recharged every day.

@David – We do not stock new BionX batteries, but we can rebuild existing ones if you send it in to us.

I have a BionX battery part# 01-2090. It labeled as a 40.7V/6.4ah/260.48Wh
It needs a rebuild or replaced. It looks like the silver one with read tail light on top of your web site that fits into a rear pannier rack. The charger is part #HP1202L3 rated for charging 40.7 volt battery , output is 45.65 volts at 2 amp.
