IZIP E3 E-Bike Battery Replacement

IZIP's are one of the most popular brand of e-bikes. Many of their models utilize the Currie Technologies Electro Drive drivetrain system. If your battery is in need of service, give us a call. We can rebuild and repair these often upgrading the capacity in the process giving you longer range rides.

We have upgraded customer's batteries for the E3 Peak, E3 Sumo, and E3 Dash which utilize the battery that inserts into the downtube up to 48V 10.5Ah. These are usually the TranzX BL17 model. If you're looking for even more range, we can double the capacity with one of our 48V 17.5Ah Sea Lion batteries. We can also take care of the flat rear rack battery found in the E3 Zuma, E3 Path, or E3 Vibe models along with their other electric bikes.

I have an IZIP e3 Path+ with a Shimano Steps Li-ion rear mounted battery pack (36V, 11.6Ah, 418Wh) Item BT-E6000. I have a little more life left in the battery but I want to plan for when it dies. Do you need the shell of this current battery to build a new battery or are there other options? Are you able to increase the range that the battery offers? Also can I increase the top speed of the pedal assist for this system? Currently the pedal assist only operates under 20 mph and I’d like to get a little more speed out of the bike for road riding. -Thanks

We have a downtube IZip 48 volt battery that no longer takes a charge. Can you rebuild mine or do you have any for sale? How much?
I hate that the bike is useless without the battery. Looks like everyone else is facing the same problem.

I have a 2014 IZIP E3 Zuma, and the “downtube” battery is not charging. It shows a GREEN light, as if it was full, but when unplugged, it shows blinking 1 bar and will not go into a selection of speed (1, 2, 3, 4) but just shows a O. Ready for a rebuild/repair/replacement. Are you they guys to do it? Whats the first step?
