Reention Downtube Battery Packs
Posted on March 01 2018
Reention makes popular battery packs used by many different bike companies for their sleek, semi-integrated downtube design offering high capacity. They come in a variety of voltages and capacities. We can rebuild them all, often time upgrading your capacity to give you longer ride time!
These battery packs can be found on E-Joe, Volt Bike, Samson, Juiced, Surface 604, Smartmotion and FLX among others. Even if we don't have an online ordering link, contact us and we'll help you out. It doesn't matter if it's a 36V or 48V pack or what capacity it was to begin with.
All of our rebuilds are backed by our 12 month warranty. So if you're ready to get back on the road, send us your battery and charger with our Battery Intake Form and let us rebuild your battery.

I bought a Populo Scout E-Bike that has no Battery. The company doesn’t make it anymore. The spec sheet says it held a 36V 13.5A/hr Panasonic, but the Downtube rack says REENTION on it. Can a stock battery from EMP be adapted?
@Steven – Send us some pictures of what you have now and we’ll be glad to help you out!

I have an Orbea Gain D30 e.bike with a Ebikemotion 36v downtube integrated battery pack, the bike was submerged for a few minutes and now a warning light on the control button is flashing.
We have swopped out various components and the fault appears to be with the battery, can you supply a new replacement battery or refurb the existing battery.
Regards
Peter
@Lance – We do not sell second-hand products on our site. Maybe find some other online forum or classifieds?

@Rov – Yes, we can rebuild and upgrade the capacity of those packs.
Hi, I have a Reention Dorado 36V 12AH battery. It is not recharging. Looking to get it replaced or rebuilt. Can it be upgraded to higher capacity.
Thank you
Rov
@Larry – Usually an 11.6Ah battery can only be upgraded to 14Ah, but it depends on the case. We’ll be in touch regarding pricing.
I have an ebike with Retention battery with the numbers ABM9-4811-O-P-WP-QT-0151469
I believe it is a 48V 11.6AH.
What is the replacement cost for this battery and the cost of a 16AH or 17AH upgrade?
@Mike – Can you send us a picture of your battery and the screws you’re looking for? We can probably supply you with them.
I have a second-hand REENTION battery case that’s missing some of the screws that go from one side of the case to the other, they’re about 74mm long (3 inches perhaps) and have a tiny nut that fits into a hexagonal hole in the case. Do you know where I can purchase spare screws ???
@Tom – We don’t necessarily stock replacements, but we have some scrapped batteries we can salvage parts off of.
