The EMP × Handlworks 60V / 20Ah pack is a purpose-built 16S4P lithium-ion battery for configured Handlworks upgrade systems. Premium Samsung 50S cells, a high-current BMS and a hardwired XT90 discharge path give the controller the battery platform it was designed to use.

Why this pack exists
A real power path from cells to controller.
This is not a generic replacement battery with a high-current label added to the listing. The pack is built around the electrical requirements of the verified Handlworks configuration, with the cell group, BMS, discharge cable and connector treated as a complete system.
Samsung 50S performance cells
Sixty-four A-grade Samsung INR21700-50S cells are arranged 16S4P to deliver 20Ah capacity and approximately 1,152Wh of nominal energy.
High-current discharge architecture
The discharge path bypasses traditional cradle spring contacts and uses a hardwired pass-through XT90 output for the configured high-output setup.
Built and tested as a system
EMP verifies voltage, charger profile, connector polarity, cable length and mounting requirements before the finished pack is released for the bike.

The storefront calls this a 60V pack. Electrically, the 16S lithium-ion architecture is approximately 57.6V nominal and reaches 67.2V at full charge.
80A continuous. 100A maximum.
The battery is designed around the verified high-current Handlworks application. Actual controller demand, tune, wiring and vehicle configuration determine how much current the system uses.
The case controls are intentionally bypassed.
On this build, the enclosure power button and charge indicator are intentionally nonfunctional. The performance discharge path is hardwired for the configured installation.

Compatibility applies to properly configured Handlworks upgrade systems, not every stock bike. EMP confirms controller voltage, tune, connector polarity, cable length and mounting space before final configuration.

Important compatibility and safety notice
This is a high-output 60V lithium-ion battery for approved, configured systems. Do not connect it to a stock controller, charger, display, lighting system, wiring harness or accessory that has not been verified for the battery voltage and expected current. High-power modifications can affect component life, vehicle warranty, legal classification and rider safety. Parallel-battery use and regenerative braking require application-specific approval.

Important Information
Turnaround times begin once your battery is received and checked into our system.
During high demand periods or for complex builds, timelines may be slightly extended.
Shipping Method
- All batteries are shipped via ground service only (FedEx or UPS) in compliance with DOT and IATA regulations for lithium batteries.
- Expedited air shipping is not available for lithium battery products.

- Ground shipping typically takes 3–7 business days within the U.S.
- Tracking information will be provided as soon as your order ships.

Returns
- Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery on unused, unopened batteries.
- For rebuilds and custom packs, all sales are final unless defective.

- Customers are responsible for providing a valid shipping address — carriers cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes.
- Signature may be required at delivery for higher-value battery orders.
