These are built in a 13S 7P configuration meaning we can upgrade you to 48V 24Ah giving you 60% more range than the original specification. We back all of our builds with a one year warranty using only fresh, grade A cells. Do you have 48v replacement batteries for 2017 terra trike?
@Terrie – 24Ah is the largest we’ll go that’ll fit inside the molded case. We’ll be in touch with our current pricing and lead time.
@Rick – We do not carry 38120 cells, but we’d be happy to build you a new battery with new state of the art cells.
How much and how long does it usually take to rebuild elf battery? Is 24 ah the largest you go? Thank you.
I have one of the early kickstarter Elfs from organic transit. The battery is a big blue heatshrink blob that has 16 Headway 38120 batteries all bolted in series. About 4 of the batteries show corrosion between the shrinkwrap and at the screw terminals. It looks like an easy job to put in new cells if they are available.
