Do you want an easy DIY kit to convert your pedal-powered bicycle to electric? This Bafang BBS system is what you're looking for! This e-bike conversion set is easy to install and comes with everything you need to get going, without breaking a sweat.
The heart of the system is the Bafang (8FUN) BBS-02 mid-drive motor, which comes in various power ratings to provide you the amount of assistance you need. Keep track of your speed, battery capacity, and other vital statistics with the LCD display. All the cabling is included along with the crank arms and special e-bike brakes which cut power to the motor as soon as the brakes are applied. Outfit your kit with proven RPE batteries matched specifically for the motors.
Which one is right for you? The lowest powered system is the 36V 500W kit, perfect for getting around town and riding recreational trails. If you need to power up bigger hills or tow some precious cargo like kids, groceries, or equipment, we offer a 48V 750W HD motor kit as well. The standard 48V 750W Bafang kit comes with slightly smaller batteries if you don't need as much range.
Here you can see a couple of bikes we converted in the shop. On the left is a touring bike with our 36V 8Ah seat bag battery. On the right is a mountain bike using the Sea Dragon battery case. We've even converted fat tire bikes!

You also need a battery and a charger. Pricing depends on the size of the battery.
How much is the 48 volt 750 watt HD motor conversion kit with a batteryas well as any other necessary parts? I’m located in NC so going to try and install myself. Thanks for any info!

I understand that it is a growing industry in Europe and I have also had the opportunity to ride one of these fat tire e-bikes, very fun and different. I also wanna to learn to install or mount these motors on different bike styles and models. What can you recommend. ?
